REV. DERRICK HOLMES

Columbus Faith Organizer, AMOS Project

Born and raised in New York City before relocating to Ohio, Derrick attended Wright State University where he majored in English education & minored in African-American history. After completing his undergraduate studies at Wright State, he went on to obtain a degree in pastoral leadership at American Baptist College. He is committed to the fight for civic equality.

Reverend Holmes counsels families and youth as a licensed Christian counselor and offers his services as a public speaker. Derrick is also the Senior Pastor of Second Baptist Church in Circleville, Ohio, where he has served since 2014. He is a published author.
